Wiser Recycling has appointed a Transport Supervisor to oversee the company’s day-to-day transport activities.
This new post has been created to ensure that Wiser Recycling can maintain the highest level of service delivery and compliance as the business, and the volume of collections, is growing. The appointment follows the expansion of the company’s operations with the opening of a new waste electrical and electronic equipment facility in Thetford last year.
The role has been awarded to Edgaras Gardeikis who has worked for Wiser Recycling for over eight years. Ed, as he is known, started out as a driver for the company before being promoted into the supervisory role. As Transport Supervisor, Ed will oversee all transport personnel and vehicle maintenance as well coordinating collection services. His role will expand as his experience and expertise grow.
Dominic Hirst, Operations Director, Wiser Recycling says: “We were delighted to offer the Transport Supervisor role to Ed in recognition of his hard work and dedication to Wiser Recycling. We are very pleased that he has accepted this challenge and will be continuing to use his knowledge and experience in transport matters to help us deliver a responsible and reliable service to our clients and to take the company forward.”
